Alfasi was engaged as the steel contractor from an early stage to assist in design development. Alfasi then supplied and installed 4,500 tons of steel for the bowl and roof including architectural cables, masts, backstays, glazing frames, cable net and bowl structure and raking beams to support seating plats.

The construction of this stand was carried out with the constraints of an operating stadium and as such the staging and methodology were paramount to the successful delivery of the structure
