New Doha International Airport (now known as Hamad International Airport) is an international 5-star gateway to Qatar and on the rest of the world replacing the former Doha International Airport. It was built to handle 30 million passengers on initial opening and 750,000 metric tons of cargo per year.

Alfasi was contracted on a design and construct basis, to supply and erect structural steelwork for the Emiri Terminal, 5,000 square meters of Semi Unitised I.G. Glass Facade, Mosque with 1,500 tons of steel geodetic dome and 5,000 square meters of diagrid perforated ceiling and Carparks, including cable guyed posts for support of shade cloth structures over the carparks.

Work performed by Alfasi includes provision and installation of glass, aluminium, stainless steel and insulation for the facades and all associated sealants.
